As an fyi, when our second son's phone got stolen we were given two courtesy simcards, so had one extra. To my surprise the new simcards now have expiration dates. But for what?
We have both an Iphone11 Pro and Iphone 12 Pro that could be traded in, ideally wanted to trade the 12pro, but paying $80+ in sales tax (as opposed to $15), makes this lesser of a deal. The upgrade is more of a want than a need, mostly for the better camera
I saw an older post in this thread about using Paypal or Chase Reserve to get cb. So it will be an online purchase while paying full sales tax, but to offset it a little bit by the cb. No mention of it anymore recently. Anyone in California at least used that method?
I also saw rumors about this ending Dec 5 or 6, so wanted to make a final decision if it is still a go or pass.
You are also securing a newer model for future higher value when trading in
"Bestbuy.com:"Something's wrong. The phone number and last 4 of SSN combination you entered doesn't match carrier records. Please try again." Anyone ever encountered this when doing the upgrade? It is a newly activated T-mobile account."
It's rare that they cancel but it happens
I would refresh several times per day to see if they got some in. Even better if you have multiple lines just in case you get an error about too many active orders
