I paid complete amount after trade in which was around 135

OK Thanks. When i was doing the online order i missed to choose one-time payment option and do the full-payment. I had to do it later calling T-mobile.

Just to report back - Costco T-Mobile iPhone is indeed different from BB T-Mobile iPhone. I opened a new account at costco, bought 2 X iPhone 13, agent just gave me as sealed, I popped in ATT sim, it shows SIM not supported message. had to use tmobile sim and go through twitter route.

Costco iPhones are locked TM or whatever carrier you buying under. Best Buy is different.

Just fyi ahlex is not saying that the loophole is closed he was saying that if for some reason when his phone arrived and loophole was closed at that time hypothetically speaking…

just got back from BB in los angeles. traded mini 12, had to pay tax on full price of the phone plus forced 10$ for sim....still a steal so wont complain

Yeah like vereuse said you mentioned that you were looking for a carrier, did you not have a T-Mobile plan when you did the deal? If not then how did you do it?

It is not true that failing to put it in the phone leaves the Sim unactivated. In my case they did not put my new Sim into the phone (box remained completely unopened) however I know for a fact that the sim was activated because the Sim card that it replaced in my existing T-Mobile line stopped working and that SIM that they activated is the one that came along side the new iPhone, I thought the same thing you did, until I just had that experience yesterday.

Wow set up new line came home input att old sim request unlock via att portal 3 min later iphone unlock wow

Can someone help me cancel tmobile line? I don't know my number who do I call try to see if they cancel without charging me $60

I signed up for Tmobile and the sim card was never inserted in the phone. Although now that I am reading some other comments, it seems like Tmobile may still charge me billing even though sim never used. Will call them tomorrow and see what they say.
