Agreed. Even if you were to get the LHR of the RTX 3060, the ROI is still just 10 months for this laptop if used for mining. Honestly, this is an excellent deal. For some reason people are expecting a $2000 worth of performance for an $800 laptop. Literally the only down side this laptop has is the RAM, which can be very easily and quickly upgraded. In fact, regardless of what laptop you get, you should always look to replace the RAM regardless as manufacturers during the pandemic have begun replacing RAM with a very slow RAM that only has half of the chips that they used to causing a 30% loss of performance. They are doing that to save a couple of bucks per machine and unfortunately the only way to know which RAM you are getting is by opening the laptop up and looking yourself since the RAM speed is never listed for laptops.

Honestly... That's not a bad deal. The CPU and wattage-limited GPU are actually a good match for 1080p gaming. 4.1 lbs is a bonus. You'll want to undervolt and maybe repaste, but a very decent performer.

Not true, though - the Lenovo ThinkBook and the Asus g14 are both 60w versions.

So this lists that it has an RTX 3060...but it doesn't specify how much memory the GPU has. Is it a full 8GB like the desktop variants? I ask because they also sold a laptop with a RTX 3050 recently with just 4GB of graphics memory.

50MH/s is currently about $100/month. You should see at least $3/day.

edit: ETH, lolminer
