If you have a micro center in town, $999 is a better choice. i7 vs i5, much better.
With a few tweaks, most of it's cons are mitigated:
Pop in another 8gb ram, umdervolt it a tad, and limit the turbo levels. Then it'll plays most recent titles at mid to high graphics settings fine and won't get too hot/thermally throttle at all.

Yikes. I was interested until I saw this. I'm running 120w on my mobile 2060 and don't want to give it up for very little performance increase.
