Pros
-Big, good size for a primary monitor, not ridiculous
-144hz over hdmi seems ok
-Colors are decent for a VA panel straight on
Cons
-1440p while a great balance between HD and 4K for resolution vs performance seems a LITTLE low for this size of monitor. It's not TERRIBLE but it's like I can almost see the pixels
-Minor-ish but SUPER annoying- (I know, first world problems) When the monitor goes to sleep and it wakes up Windows seems to forget the monitor's settings, ie it reverts back to 1080p and I can't select 1440p in windows until I unplug/ replug the hdmi cable. I disabled power saving in the monitor menu and disabled putting the monitor to sleep in windows to get around this for now.
-off axis colors are crappy (especially vertical off axis š¤®š¤®š¤®), but that's VA for you. I hate that for budget panels, VA have good blacks but awful off axis colors, and IPS has bad blacks and good off axis colors.

I much prefer this over the gigabyte 32gc I broke the other day.
