I bought one of these. I'm contemplating whether to keep it or not.

Pros
-Big, good size for a primary monitor, not ridiculous
-144hz over hdmi seems ok
-Colors are decent for a VA panel straight on

Cons
-1440p while a great balance between HD and 4K for resolution vs performance seems a LITTLE low for this size of monitor. It's not TERRIBLE but it's like I can almost see the pixels

-Minor-ish but SUPER annoying- (I know, first world problems) When the monitor goes to sleep and it wakes up Windows seems to forget the monitor's settings, ie it reverts back to 1080p and I can't select 1440p in windows until I unplug/ replug the hdmi cable. I disabled power saving in the monitor menu and disabled putting the monitor to sleep in windows to get around this for now.

-off axis colors are crappy (especially vertical off axis 🤮🤮🤮), but that's VA for you. I hate that for budget panels, VA have good blacks but awful off axis colors, and IPS has bad blacks and good off axis colors.

Damn bought 2 the first round and was going to buy another so I bought it off a third party seller on Amazon. I guess 5% back is ok.

I much prefer this over the gigabyte 32gc I broke the other day.

Bought one… then 2. Then 3 more and 1 for work. The last 3 I got for $175 from B&M. Only annoying thing is the short power and it doesn't have a way to turn off DP power on state presence…so windows disconnects the display if it's off.

I tried reading but didn't see anything but does anyone know if this monitor will do 1440 at 120 for console use. I've seen several 144 monitors so 144 or 85 on vrr through hdmi on console but consoles can't do over 120

I need a work at home monitor for reading excel files and doing PowerPoints. Should I get this or is this overkill?

I bought this and am awaiting delivery. The main reason is that I work with a lot of big Excels and my current 27", while fine, is not ideal. I've always hated looking at tiny numbers and texts, and it's especially true now that I'm old. If you have big Excels, it's nice to see as much of the spreadsheet as possible at a comfortable font size, so as to minimize scrolling.

Can someone ELI5 the Response Time: 5ms (GtG at Faster), 1ms MBR? It's 5 ms and also has settings for 1ms Motion Blur Reduction?
