The mx master 3 has fixed this design flaw.
3 years is pretty fair for a mouse lifespan. I bring my own mouse at work so I am using it almost 7 hours per day, and I am breaking every mouse including logitech, microsoft, and some no-brand every 2-4 year, especially because of the unresponsive mouse click
I have a large hand and personally I dont like the feeling of holding the mx master 3. It is quite smaller than the mx master 2.

Scroll wheel is on magnets so it's super smooth. Plus there's a different position for the "back/forward" buttons, making it easier to press as compared to the 2. If you've never used the 3, the 2 is an awesome mouse. But once you use the 3, you can't go back.

I think this mouse has enough history behind it that people know what it is or what to expect. I had the V1 for many years and now the V2. I still love this mouse. I have large hands and enjoy a heavier mouse. This is perfect. Not to mention that fast scroll is super handy. My v2 work mouse is about 4 years old and still perfect.

I ordered one last time it was on sale in july. It never shipped, over 4 months later and I still dont have the mouse. Keep contacting Lenovo and they keep saying they will look into it.
