Seems like a great deal, thanks for posting. Is it verified to be the 5th gen? I've heard that the previous generation keyboards have a weaker magnetic connection with the 5th gen iPad.

Also, friendly reminder that Chase Freedom has 5% CB this quarter for Walmart

Dang-- literally just bought one today at MicroCenter for 350 with iPad Pro on sale. If I stop in tomorrow, will they price match down you think? I ordered one here too, just in case they won't, but I'd hate to go without a case for a week.

The Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro is an absolute game changer. My 2020 Macbook Pro is now my secondary computing device. It's really that good.

The hardware is absolutely worth $250.

The only problem for me is iPadOS is severely lacking compared to macOS.

I have one. I'm a couch potato when at home. I sit on my sofa, usually with the TV on. It is awesome. A great typing experience. No tired arms holding it up. Easily lifts on / off. I would definitely replace it.

It is not a replacement for a Mac, but a great complement to it.

My only complaint about getting the magic keyboard for my 11" iPad Pro M1 is that it doubles the weight and thickness. Plus, it's incompatible with 3rd party sleeves (obviously). It makes it look and feel like a MacBook. Just need that iPadOS to catch up…

The magic is Apple getting $250 to $325 for a keyboard. But they've been doing this for everything they sell. Great business model. Make something that works well, won't cross platforms, and convince everyone whatever it costs, it's worth it. I will say they do have good resale value.

Microsoft does the same thing with the Surface Type Cover. I never see anyone complain about that.
