Use Exxon Mobil app, instead of swiping a card

Exxon and Mobil Are generally more expensive than other gas stations. I use the shell app which gives me 5 cents off a gallon each time plus additional 5 cents every 4 fill ups. On top of that Dunkin' has a promotion for every 5 beverages you buy you get 10 cents off a gallon. So overall that's a better deal for me. Cheaper gas + additional discounts.

I primarily buy Costco gas, for its lower prices and the always-4% cashback on gas from citibank Costco card (and sometimes-5% cashback from Chase cards). I'm not sure if I'll continue buying gas at Exxon Mobil after this Chase promotion

Yes Costco is a good deal but the closest one to me isn't convenient. Plus the lines at times is just not worth it.

It depends on what time of the day. But, from my observation, there are people who hesitate using a pump if its hose not on the same side with their car' tank cap; thus may be one long line at one pump, but no line at other pumps, even though Costco gas pumps have long-hose

If you activate Chase alerts, you may get instant Chase confirmation email. I just purchased Exxon Mobil gas (using app) with my 2nd Chase eligible card and received instant confirmation email from Chase.

No, but other regular gas stations generally aren't full or have a line at all unless there is some gas shortage.

With Chase offers, there are steps to go thru: you redeem the offer on your end, wait a few days for Chase to confirm your redemption, then another 7-14 days for statement credit from Chase.
