Yep. I just ended up buying some physical gift cards from BedBathBeyond. Would need to spend $70 to get the $14 back (20%). So ended up buying a $50 and $25 online shipped to me. Counted as a single transaction for $75

Thanks for this, I didn't know it was a thing. I didn't have all of them, but I have a few. Plus a few hotel cashback offers I can probably use.

Used the Exxon Mobil and Walgreens offers last weekend. Got the email and credit for the Walgreens purchase, but nothing for the Exxon Mobil purchase.
edit - the Mobil gas station transaction is described as 7-Eleven since it's attached to one. I'll probably have to contact Chase to request the credit.
It has been one whole week but the charges are still not showing on my Chase accounts as of yet. I don't think I am getting the GCs for free but afraid the charges will show up a couple months later and I am not getting the cashback from Chase.

I had 6 Chase cards with the Walgreen offer. I purchased $40 Amazon GC with each card on 10/24. 4 cards show the charges and the $8 credits. The remaining two are not showing the $40 charge from Walgreen and thus no $8 credit has been posted to these 2 accounts. I do not understand why it would happen like this, and I don't know what to expect next.

I haven't seen credit and/or email confirmation on some offers I've redeemed. Probably wait the 14 business days before assuming anything.
For those wondering if you'll receive credit, check your offers page and there is a tab for "redeemed". It should show if it's redeemed even if you haven't received credit or an e-mail yet. I saw my Walgreen offer was redeemed a couple days before I got an email and credit.
I had this offer only my debit card. I got my credit back for both Walgreens and Bed bath after I purchased gift cards. Unfortunately I got screwed on the Mobil/exxon deal because the charge showed up as a name of the location and didn't say "Mobil". Spoke with chase and they said there is nothing they can do. I'm glad I just topped off and not filled up so I was only out less than $1 since Mobil is about 20 cents more expensive than other stations. Lost out on about $2 worth of credit, but oh well.
The problem is, I don't even see the $40 charges on my Chase accounts, not to mention about the $8 credits. What's up with these recently? I purchased $500 Target GCs a month ago. I received the GCs but the order status is still showing "Preparing", and I didn't get charged for the order....

Update - I sent a secure message last week with attachments of my receipt, screenshot of the gas station on map street view, and screenshot + link of the station page on the Mobil website matching the location # to that on the receipt and transaction. Received a reply, told to call. I called today, bounced between a few departments, finally talked to a lovely guy who told me multiple times he has never heard of any special offers that I would have on my checking account. After a couple holds he finally knew what Chase Offers are, then insisted it's "impossible" for anyone to review this transaction because there's no dedicated team. Finally got a supervisor, she opened a ticket with reference to info I already submitted via SM. I'll hear from their "research specialist" in 3-5 days.
I understand procedure, getting the right dept, and all that. Still frustrating, as this just requires someone to take 30 seconds to look at the receipt, match the station # and address to the one on the Mobil site, say, "Yep, that's a Mobil station," and issue the credit. LOL, they'll probably tell me they couldn't verify the the transaction qualified.
Sorry for the rant. It's not a big deal or anything. I totally get why the credit wasn't triggered and am aware I'm asking for what seems like an exception, but I wouldn't have known a Mobil station wouldn't code as such. Manual credit issue would be nice, but I'm not expecting it. Bah.

I'm with you -- this is total BS. If they're going to run these programs, they need to support it. I sent a secure message, they responded with the general customer service number. Then after being on hold for 15 minutes, the rep did not help or provide a credit -- I was told that since the station appeared as a different business and not Exxon the credit was not applied. The terms never stated this -- how are we supposed to know how the charge is going to show before we get the bill?

Naturally I have not heard anything back. I doubt a "ticket" was filed or any "research specialist" looked into anything.
Lesson learned. Next time I'll do a small transaction with a different card to see how the transaction is described before using one of these offers.
If I get a chance I'll bother Chase again sometime this week. I bought fuel at a Mobil station. I provided all the info to demonstrate this. The apparent lack of knowledge by CS on these Chase offers is really odd.

I filed a BBB complaint, probably a low chance of a favorable ruling, but the principle of running a promotion and not honoring it really irritates me.

However the offer shows EXPIRED on 10/28.
Has NOT moved to the redeemed tab.
A CSR told me that the offer was NOT applied to my account and is now EXPIRED.
This deal didn't work out, even though I did everything correctly

It showed the same thing for me and I received the credit a few days later.
