Any reason why this was downvoted? I'm looking to purchase a 27" 2k 144hz+ IPS monitor for work and gaming. Any recommendations for any other monitors with the same specs in a similar price range?

M27Q is another good choice. You should be able to get it for $270 on sale, if you can wait.

Honestly, return it and grab this:

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/giga...Id=6438287

Better black uniformity, so better with dark room performance. All-around slightly better and $10 less.

Oh wow, i have had the 2721dgf for a year now, and while i love it, the specs on this gigabyte are impressive. HDR400 and KVM is a pretty useful feature.
I would imagine the build quality on the Dell is better though? (The DGF is super solid, no flex at all).

If i were in the market now, I'd prob pick the Gigabyte

Great link. The ergo arm is seriously a big selling point. If your desk set-up can utilize it, I would def go for the purchase.

VA panel vs IPS from an image quality standpoint technically VA can be superior if properly calibrated due to contrast. However IPS is almost always more color accurate. Additionally almost no VA monitors outside Samsung G7/G9, some LG monitors or monitors with Gsync modules work properly with Gsync without flickering issues. It's just an inherent issue with the response time and power/refresh of VA panels. IPS monitors just play better with Gsync overall. This monitor is certified for Gsync and Freesync premium is IPS (typically more expensive for stated reasons) also is nano IPS so has wider color gammut.

M27q wasn't for me, different subpixel layout and black uniformity was off due to really bad backlight and burnt pixels and shit support vs dell
