Ok I let the first inflation comment go. But I think it's important for people to understand THIS is NOT a deal. If you really want to get the outdated V10, go buy a refurb for $220 and throw on a $50 four year warranty. Don't waste your time on this expecting this to be a deal and buying power is at MAX 10% less than before and that's just because all consumer products/services differ. A dyson vacuum isn't one of those high inflation items (it's dyson's greed) because they are getting owned by other companies coming out with competitive vacuums. Dyson is still the leader (for now) but they are trying to cash in while they can.

pls post the link for $220 factory-refurb v10 animal/absolute. does the $50 warranty cover batt for 4yrs? i think the new dyson covers batt for 2yrs. thanks

This will come with wall dock. The machine can be charged on the dock or by plugging the charger directly to the machine.

The BMS is already in place otherwise you'd have an even bigger problem such as a replacement battery that suddenly won't charge, ask me how I know. The issue is no name replacement on Amazon uses cheap 2nd quality branded or cheap generic cells rather than Sony, LG or Panasonic cells. The replacement battery is only as good as the cells inside, and sometimes this just die, because vacuuming esp. on max power uses very high power, unlike a cellphone where it uses battery power gradually.

$220 was for total clean version, $250-$280 was where Absolute was hovering for the past year. Again though that's like every month kinda deal. For those that are ok with the simplicity of buying from Costco at a premium, then this is a "warm" I'm not paying retail price but I do think there will be other deals to be had come Black Friday. Likely a deal to get the V11 within the $350 price range. And given the issues with the trash bin on the V10, it might be worth it. The V11 has literally been problem free for just about a year now and it's used everyday. Meanwhile I've had friends with the V10 and they all have dealt with the dreaded trash bin lock up.

thats not a v10 specific issue, i see it happened on v11 as well as older ones. Apparently not that immediate or widespread, but all the more reason to buy new from Costco vs refurb from elsewhere. totally diff wty coverage. i dont trust some 3rd party 4yr wty vs Costco/dyson wty. This is a BF deal. but like you forecast, if we can buy V11 for same price on BF, we can return v10 to costco, no need to chance bird in hand.
