On another note, apparently Netgear makes you pay for tech support after 90 days to actually use your warranty. That was a no go for me.

The guest network on Deco's are NOT a guest network - there's no separation - it's just another password for your network.
The Orbi completely separates it.
The BEST thing about the Orbi is the way it handles DNS. Most routers I've used, when you specify an internal DNS server (say like a piHole) - your guest network doesn't have access to it. Orbi handles it fine, as the DNS lookups are done by Orbi to whatever upstream DNS server you specify. So essentially, your Guest network is also protected by piHole.

I just bought this model to go faster and get the speeds I'm paying for from Comcast.

Returning something because it boke a couple weeks outside of warranty? Sure ok.
Returning something years later because you're upgrading? Not cool.
I think it may be useful for the better speeds once I get the next gen console where games are ~50GB downloads. Gamepass also makes it easy to access multiple games which is the main need for the higher throughput.

I'm paying for gigabit, but my modem/router combo isn't delivering close to that speed.
