Come on. You returned what you bought 4 years ago and are proud of it?

Go with the Asus. I've tried both and got much better coverage from the Zen.

On another note, apparently Netgear makes you pay for tech support after 90 days to actually use your warranty. That was a no go for me.

I printed out my old receipt from 2017 or so, boxed it up in the original packaging, took it to customer service and said it wasn't working very well anymore and that I'd like store credit since I was going shopping

returned with no questions asked

I've got an RBK 50, an RBS 50, and an RBS 20 in my current (soon to be older) house. Can I use my older devices with this system without compromising the quality of these newer devices? I read before that using older devices with newer systems downgrades it to the speed of the oldest device.
I just checked for myself and apparently at best the older systems can work when wired directly, otherwise not compatible with older routers and satellites.

You would think with mesh systems part of the appeal is they're modular, especially at this price.

May just buy and return.

I bought this last year for 4 and change...think it had a 70 coupon.

Very powerful, though it's gotten disconnected a few times...that may have more to do with my awful Spectrum service than the router.

Two major downsides:

1. Really ugly...looks like a medical device.

2. 90 day phone support, which is a joke for a $500+ router. I had issues after about 6 months, and they wanted me to pay another $79.xx for warranty support.

Does this provide the ability to separate networks?

I own the older model which I had to do some work to separate networks (at the cost of not upgrading devices)

Reason for separation: iot devices that only support 2.4 . I was experiencing drops as the router was working to direct traffic to the correct band

This is where I'm ok with using Costco's return policy. I have no idea what Costco's sales contract is with Netgear or who takes this hit on a return like this, but if it's defective and still under warranty, I gotta imagine it's making its way back to Netgear eventually.

What is the better option for me, as I do have cat 6 wired throughout the house. This or the Deco X60 that is also on sale at Costco. I like the cost of the Deco x60, is it worth the upgrade to the Orbi for a larger home or is the Deco X60 sufficient. Right now if have Spectrum 400/20 as my internet service. I also have kids so some management is appreciated.

Can we use ethernet cable to extend the location of 1 of this Orbi units? I am planning to use 2 units on the front house and 1 unit at the back house. There is an ethernet cable connection from front house to back house about 100 feet long.

Best Buy lets you pay an additional $50 to get a full refund if you return the router within 4 yrs. Does Costco have anything similar? I am considering returning my Best Buy 2-pack since this has 3 total.

No separation of bands, unfortunately.

Outside of an Asus router, this has been perhaps the best router I've owned ,hands down. Set it and forget it. The only time I need to login to the router is for a periodic update (and that's if I remember to).

Do you have any of the satellites running wireless? If so, what kind of speeds can the satellite do and how many walls/ceilings is it going through?
I ordered one this morning and am hoping it helps my current setup. I am currently running a Nest Router + Nest Point + Google Wifi puck. Router is on main level of the house and Point is upstairs. Puck is in basement media room with a couple things hardwired to it. Upstairs is fine but in basement with it running through a couple walls and the ceiling, neither the Puck or Point could pull much better than 75 Mbps.

I have CenturyLink gigabit internet that consistently has great speeds from Router.
