Sub is not wireless. Add two more book shelf speakers to ceiling so you get the atmos for $90.
Price breakdown-Individually the two 610f are $299(Adorama) , bookshelf 41M are $90 (Costco), the sub at $149 (Adorama) & center 52C at $224 (Amazon) Total cost=$764. You save 164 with bundle in this post.
Good deal. You could probably pick up the individual pieces for slightly less if you were super patient and found the best deals but this is a really good price to get the whole package.
I bought these at this exact price at Adorama a few months ago. I paired it with Denon S750 AR. I'm no expert so the expectations may vary, but I am very happy with the setup I have that I moved from a 300w 2.1 soundbar.

Would this be an improvement over my Pioneer Andrew Jones' for movie watching?
I'm fairly satisfied with my speakers except the center channel where I feel like dialogs in movies/tv shows aren't as crisp/clear as I'd like them to be. I've put up with them for a while but I'm getting to the point where I feel like I should just bite the bullet and get a better set.
On another note, if I were to make this type of purchase, I would definitely have spent a couple hundred more for R-625FA. I might buy those separately and place R-610F as my rears.
I am planning to finish basement with these speakers. How do we mount center and bookshelf speakers on wall?
They have studio mounts on Amazon, and I built a shelf for the center. Check the depth of the center, it's huge. Recommend cutting out a cardboard box and push pinning it to the wall that way you can get a real life idea how much it will stick out.
If I get this, and a $300 5.1 receiver, would you say it's a significant improvement over a Sonos Beam + $500 subwoofer?
I just have TV speakers now, don't really know what to expect from either setup tbh.
How does this compare to the Klipsch 5.0.2 @ Costco? I'm looking for the best bang for your buck around this price point.
They both have the same center and same bookshelf speakers. The difference is that this is $300 cheaper and comes with a sub, but the fronts from the Costco set has built-in up-firing Atmos speakers. If I were you, I'd get this one and, if you care about Atmos, spend the $300 towards a ceiling or height speaker. I hear the up-firing ones just don't work that well and kinda gimmicky.

I'd use shelves.

Or the bookshelves have mounting holes, so they could actually be mounted. The center does not so needs a shelf or something.
