If I didn't already pick up the Makita combo for $152, I would definitely jump on this deal!

I have both of these and they are excellent tools. The triple hammer feels better than any other impact driver I've used. I got them separately for way more than this combo.

Great deal on this set, the impact alone is well worth the price and this comes with the longer runtime compact batteries.

I got this multi-volt set early this year on closeout at my local Lowes for $135, it came with one 3AH and one 5AH battery but a very cheap fabric bag for them. Luckily, I already had a better bag to use, wish it had come with the hard case that would have been nice. I've been very happy with both tools and that impact driver is a powerhouse.

Have the same pack with the 5ah and 3ah with the cheesy little bag with a picture of a drill on it :-), use it daily for better part of a last half a year and it's still a beast, I never buy the warranty but on hitachi original set I did because would be a daily use item, allmost before expired charger crapped out, Lowe's swapped out that set for the brushless new one with the big battery no questions asked, well spent 20 bucks to end up upgraded and brand new again.

The bigger and faster Hitachi/Metabo battery charger is an awesome upgrade that is well worth the money.

Do they have lifetime battery warranty like ridgid?

WARRANTY: Covered by a lifetime lithium ion tool warranty, 2-year lithium ion battery warranty and 1-year charger warranty

BATTERIES: (2) 3.0Ah 339782M
CHARGER: UC18YFSLM

Is there a battery adapter to dewalt tools?

I've had this set since they were Hitachi. I thought I'd "upgrade" with one of DeWalt's higher end Black Friday deal combos. The Metabo impact driver beats the DeWalt hands down

I have and like hitachi tools, but at the same price, i would take Makita without hesitation. Higher quality and the best design across all brands

Anybody have an older haitachi equipment that can confirm these batteries would fit older models? They look very similar. Hitachi changed their name to Metabo tools but I do have a couple other Hitachi tools that look very similar

Most people will never have to warranty a tool, but everyone will eventually have their batteries fail. With Ridgid, they'll be covered.

Metabo HPT (Hitachi Power Tools) batteries are compatible with Hitachi. And vice-versa.

The original Metabo brand share no compatibility with Metabo HPT or Hitachi.
