those mini reciprocating size tool are pricey, I'd definitely choose that. I hate those super long reciprocating saws that look like a gun out of a sci fi movie. the tip of em has a lot of leverage on your hands and they're bouncing all over the place, or getting stuck in the kerf. Hard to control, I'm sure these small ones are a lot easier to use
