If the photo in the posting is from Costco, the KC18DGLS appears to be the brushed tools.

I believe the triple-hammer impact driver in the brushless kit is also considered a better tool. The drill chuck appears to be all metal on the brushless kit, as well.

Edit: If Costco actually has the KC18DBFL2CM kit at $99 that's an amazing deal. The brushless kit gets top marks from ToolGuyd (and seems like a substantial upgrade for $30):

if its brushless it would prominently say so on the package which this does not. definitely go for the brushless model at lowes for $20 more (after $100 lowes gc for $90) from link below. its lighter, more compact and has more power. it also comes with 3ah batteries. this is only 1.5ah batteries which mean not only lower battery life but lower torque/power as well.
