Same here in Motebello BB. They said they can only apply the coupon to regular price items. Does the one in City of Industry apply it for you?

They're just making stuff up on the fly. Get the coupon and try again another time or another location.

It should be clear to everyone at this point that it's hit or miss. Don't bother arguing. Just retry later. Worse case, buy the drive now and return/rebuy later with the coupon.

In for 2. Not willing to risk a lack of inventory due to the current supply chain issues.
It won't let me put two in the cart. Can I go in and buy it twice? Thans!

Just wanted to confirm I was able to earn and use 2 recycling coupons by speaking with the customer service desk openly about my plans to buy 2 drives, just needs to be separate transactions. ~$13/TB with taxes

FWIW, was able to get Seatools to recognize this Easystore drive. Also confirmed the 7200rpm spindle but more importantly indicated identified 512MB cache. Which leads me to believe mine is indeed white label Red Plus or Red Pro drives.

I hear some light buzzing/rumbling from my drive intermittently but it passed both the quick and extended tests (24+ hrs!!) using the WD diagnostics tool. Do I have anything to worry about?

Went to Union City, CA location yesterday. The customer service knew about the process and provided the coupon and quickly were able to process the return and rebuy for the item I had ordered for pickup. Recycled USB flash drive.

Anyone by chance tried connecting it to Chromecast with Google TV with USB C hub to see if it works/detects?

Finally got to use a $80 gift card I got from a promo. With the Chase 10% cash back, this came out to $126. I'll take it!

I bought 4 of the drives on Monday and just shucc'd and inserted one on my Syno NAS (replacing 4x 4TB with 4x 14TB) after finishing stress testing (48+ hours total). Definitely recommend stress testing multiple drives at a time if you can.

All 4 drives are reporting as helium filled, 7200 RPM WD140EDGZ-11B1PA0. The only differences I see with the 4 units is that they came with two different power adapters - two are the usual ktec that come with easystores and two are made in China adapters.
How's the noise/heat compare to the previous 4TB drives, considering these are 7200 RPM?

Considering swapping out my x4 8TBs that are all 5400.

Bought at 200 earlier this week and just did a return/rebuy with the recycle promo. I did the recycle promo about a month ago for a WD nvme on the same account.

I've only replaced 1 in the array so far, so I can't really say with certainty. So far, any extra noise hasn't been noticeable.

What information does Best Buy take in when recycling a storage device? Phone number, address perhaps?
They only requested a phone number when I went through the recycling process.

My bestbuy wouldn't take SD memory card. Mine also wanted a fingerprint.
