This has no USB-C header but if you don't need one I've been looking for a deal on this motherboard, its a really good price for an ITX B550 motherboard and I've become a pretty big fan of Gigabyte.

The Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX has been, in my experience, the best ITX motherboard for SFF AMD Ryzen gaming builds. This is the board I use for all my gaming rigs and for any build I do for family and friends.
Usually this board is around $210 but for a short time Amazon has it listed at $167.99. If your going to do a SFF Gaming build then this is an incredible buy!
was looking to get the budget ASRock b550m itx/ac for 110 (microcenter bundle), is there any real advantage/must have feature on this? don't plan to do any overclocking etc

The budget B550 your looking at loses one M.2 slot, so only one not dual like other B550 boards. Also it is using a weak onboard audio solution. While really minor it also does not have the built in rear I/O shield, which I love having for builds.
The Budget B550 is not a bad board at all, but to me the extras of the more costly board have been worth it. Plus I really prefer the Gigabyte URFI over that offered by ASRock.
I guess amazing is a relative term. $30 off MSRP is a about a 20% price reduction and is the lowest price I have seen ever for a B550 ITX other than the budget model from ASRock.

I'm actually having a real headache trying to look at upgrade options... I'm just a "retired" gamer, with my current build running a 4770k/1080 still playing most games fine... really wanted to jump to alder lake after seeing reviews yesterday but yikes are those motherboard/ddr5 ram expensive.
thanks for the input though, I do use a mid tier dac/amp generally and only have 1 m.2 drive... but the RGB looks nice 😂

I've got the B450 version of this running APU, and the VRMs on that are pretty terrible. I could fry an egg when encoding. Generically these 550s are supposed to be better in that regard, anyone have specific experience?
Who was the idiot on the design team who thought right angled SATA connectors would be good for an ITX board.
On my Sliger SM550, there's no space between the connectors and the PSU
I have this mobo + 5800x on my main rig. First time using a Gigabyte. Sometimes my gpu fans rev full speed for 2 seconds during a cold boot, and sometimes I fully lose Bluetooth connectivity, which is fixed by unplugging the psu plug then pressing the power button on a few times to discharge the capacitors, then plugging back the psu plug. Turns out those issues are normal for these boards lol. Other than those 2, it's been rock solid in terms of stability and power.
I was actually considering that ASRock from Micro Center a few months ago when I got my 5700G but decided it felt kind of janky. I had an Intel Fatal1ty board that lasted me a few years but I'm just not a fan of ASRock lately. Plus I'd have to buy the ASRock from Newegg which is always a miserable experience. Amazon's holiday return policy is hard to beat plus its 5% cash back.
