I have been searching for this TV for some time and this is the cheapest I have found it. Its a Black Friday Guarantee at Best Buy! I am guessing that means, if price is lower on Black Friday, Best Buy will Price Match. If you purchase the Total Tech Plan for $199.99 along with purchase you get free mounting and disposal of old TV. You also get additional perks with Total Tech Plan

They will price match even if you don't purchase total plan. You just have to be a my best buy member, which is free.
Instead of paying $200/year, buy extended warranty and save money

Best Buy is offering their holiday return window for all shoppers.

"EXTENDED HOLIDAY RETURN PERIOD

When purchased now through Jan 2, you can return this item anytime until Jan 16."

You could buy the TV now, and test it out to see if it's right for you. If not, you can always return it. Make sure you have it delivered until you can safely transport it home and back to the store if you need to.

Good point. Their protection plan doesn't cover burn in and accidental damage, but it should cover everything else covered by the MFG warranty.

Any reason to get this Sony A80J at $1400 over LG OLED C1 for $1300, including at Costco? The LG's seem to have all the gaming features (VRR, Dolby Vision for gaming, etc.) and is cheaper, while Sony will add VRR but may not add Dolby Vision for games. The only advantage I see for Sony is maybe Android TV for wider app support.

I just love Sony TVs and their processing. The LG is a good TV also.

Having owned both the LG C1 and A80J. I can't really tell the difference in picture. I do love the Sony remote and Android over LG. As for burn in. I had my C1 for 3.5 years. No burn in and I left it on pause all the time when I walked my dogs.

Yeah Schumacher is trolling. First there is a big difference in picture quality between c1 and Sony A80j. 2nd he doesn't even know what model he is on. I think 3.5 years ago was the c8.
