Amazon price matched Newegg for the Gigabyte M32Q https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0968QT6SS/ for $369.99 (limit 1 though for those considering multi-display setups)

https://www.rtings.com/monitor/to...shold=0.10 compares the M32Q to the LG 32GP850-B (which appears to be nearly identical to the LG 32GP83B-B except the 850 has a USB Hub) as being pretty much equal.

The M32Q also includes a built-in KVM and USB Hub, as well as USB-C Display capability for $30 cheaper.

Do you want curved screen or not? G7 is the best VA panel so if you want a curve that's the obvious choice. If you don't care there's no real reason not to get IPS unless you are really sensitive to IPS glow or frequently use your screen in dim light.

I'm confused as what's typically best for coding/programming/web design in terms of a 27 or 28" 4k 3840 x 2160 vs a 27" 2560 x 1440 vs this 32" 2560 x 1440 ? I'm coming from 2 29" 2560 x 1080 Dell ultra wides. I'm comfortable with the monitor about arms length away

I have this and have used it for ps5 and pc gaming. If anyone was wondering it will downscale a 4k signal from the ps5 to 1440p. There is also no usb hub built in either.

Did m32q increase in price?? Thought it was in the sub 300 range or was that the 27 inch version I'm thinking

That 4ms makes $100 more.
Isn't that a VA display too? Also the monitor on the link goes on sale in 1 week for 249.99

So I ended up buying this monitor. Works great, really happy with the purchase, but my only gripe is that the bottom bezel/chin is different than the previous models/years and other models where the previous LG UG models (GL83A or GL850) had the same bezels as other LG models (like the QN600) and so I could mix and match and have the same looking IPS monitors (even if they have different specs)

It seems like the only monitors that have the same bezel as this one is the GN600 series which is a VA panel. I really don't want to get 2 of this one because I'll only game on one but I also don't want to get a VA panel for my secondary monitor, which is off on the side disconnected to the main front monitor.

Thoughts?

Upon further review, it looks like LG only started making the UG 1440p 32" in IPS panels this year.

This is going to be entirely up to you. I run 3x 27" LG 4k IPS monitors. I'm a software architect, so I have VSCode, SQL Manager, multiple browsers, and a collection of CLI windows open at any given time. I have traditionally run 2k resolution (2560x1440) across the board, but I've had some issues with my sight that drove that down to 1080p. I may bounce back to 2k, but 4k is waaaaaay too small for my taste on a 27" monitor. I can use 4k on some games, but never while I'm working.

I'm considering this for my center monitor as 2k resolution on a 32" may work better for me in the long run. I will say that the text on my current setup is much crisper than on my previous set of 27" VA monitors.
