Great deal! You'll never find a 70" brand TV for such a cheap price!
It's got 4K UHD HDR10 with HDMI 2.1 and eARC and compatible with Alexa, Google and Apple Airplay 2.
Just release last month or so on Samsung's website.

Any recommendations on where to find a starting set of calibration settings specific to the TU6985 would be appreciated. Looked around (AVS Forum et al) and only found 2020 model calibration settings.

Hey guys. It's big. It's cheap. Arguing about anything else is silly. Yeah bought one. 70" for $33/month. Arguing about pic quality or HDMI ports is pointless. Want better pic quality. Or more ports. Spend more money. This is the bottom. And the bottom has its place.

Just bought a Hisense R7G5 65" from Costco for $500, would be great except for the 1" light bleed from top to bottom on the right and left sides. Maybe I'm being picky and that is normal in this price range?

Very likely returning the Hisense and thinking of getting this TU6985 70" from Best Buy or the TU700D from Costco (linked below). What is the difference between them, if any?

Someone asked if this is better than a Sony x85j 65".
Answer: go with the x85j. Smaller screen but much better specs and especially refresh rate and Dolby vision
