Actually bought mine from last WM deal for $300. It arrived perfect with a sturdy wooden box outer shell. Still sitting in my garage unopened. Tried to do price adjustment but apparently WM no longer does this even though still within return window. Ordered another that will deliver on Sat, the returning it back to the store.

I have this and also the big Joe. While the big Joe is large, it also takes much longer to reach temp and stabilize. The Joe Jr due to the small size, it gets to temp and stabilize way faster.

I was skeptical on why would I use it, turns out for low slow cook, I opt for the big Joe but for searing, I go for the Joe jr.

Not that the Joe Jr is not capable to do slow cook though. Just the amount of charcoal it can hold is not that much so you will need to add charcoals if you are doing 18+ hours cook.
