If these work even close to as well as the Big Green Eggs this is a great price. It will change your life if you enjoy a nice smoke flavor with your meat.

As good of a place as any. What is the difference between I, II, and III? the price difference seems to imply something huge, but the capabilities seem the same.

I have a Classic I, and it's a game changer too. I don't know that I've had food from a BGE, but I hear that they cook essentially the same.

I sold my Classic II because of a move. These are very tempting to get back in at the game.

the difference comes from the extra features that KJ has over BGE that make it more enjoyable to use.

BGE doesn't innovate at all which is how they lost the battle of kamados to KJ.

The Classics I, II, and III are all the same size. The Classic II is the Classic I with a lock on the front and a spring hinge on the back to reduce the weight of lifting the lid. Instead of using one arm for the lid on the Classic I, you can use a finger for the Classic II.

The Classic III has a nicer stand and the SloRoller included (new smoking technology). I'm not as well versed on the III as the other two. I have the Classic I, and in my opinion, there is not enough value in the other two to pay the price differences. If budget is a concern, the Classic I is a no brainer.
