I signed up on 11/21 after they removed the page. It's been over 7 days and I haven't received any email. It also doesn't show up under my benefits. I contacted support and they had me submit screenshots of my google subscriptions and location and told me they're going to investigate and get back to me. I'm guessing I won't be getting the hub.

I never got an email about the promotion. But I do remember seeing it be advertised on the storage upgrade page. Under the 2TB option, it mentioned it. Of course I didn't screenshot that though

Got email today for the offer if I upgrade. I had downgraded when the above offer wasn't available for existing users. I guess they have some leftovers.

I signed up on 11/19, contacted them on 11/28 after not getting anything in my email after 7 days. They said it was likely because my credit card didn't get charged until 11/23 (though I was already getting the full 2TB space on 11/19 right after upgrading from the 100GB plan).

11/30 passes, and it's now 12/3, and I'm checking back in with them now. We'll see what they say.

@bigdeal44, can you take a screenshot of the promotion that was sent to your email?

Chat with customer service, refused to honor this offer. was asked to provide the promotional email. Although I had the chat session email before signing up this service, was told I would qualified at that time. But that did not help. Customer service rep claimed everything is automated, and there is nothing they can do to correct human error on their end.

Anyone have any screenshots? They are being real a-holes about this. After several back-and-forth chats telling me to wait, I qualified, that things were backed up. Now they are requiring me to show proof I qualified. That only those that got the email qualified. Despite it showing up when looking to sign up on their own website.

Looks like we are doomed here, tried two chat sessions, going no where, they claimed escalated to 3 tier, wont give a darn if no promotional email. Refused to do anything about it or escalate it. It's sad to see such a big company which gave out incorrect info to customer and refuse to honor it.

That's exactly what they told me as well. Except it showed up as an offer when I was looking to subscribe. And the terms and conditions certainly didn't say anything about needing to provide a screenshot of anything.

Very scummy of Google, classic bait and switch. Sucks since with most other companies I could take stronger action, like at least filing a credit card dispute. But being banned from Google would not be good either, and I don't doubt they would if you cause them any trouble. Mad

I got the email, and they still are refusing. Since i paid yearly, i wasnt charged for the 2tb yet, but am an active subscriber. That's all it asked for in the fine print. Got it escalated and am waiting for their response.

It's not for those who Google is denying for reasons not listed in the terms and conditions.

No one has any screenshots? I really should have grabbed them from the website.
