Costco has a 7qt for 40 coming up.
If you shake them enough while cooking the will be ok
I believe this is the Black Friday price, available early. Reviewers really like this air fryer, rating it high for safety and commenting on the large capacity.

What's the point then? It seems like a hassle to be near it the whole time to make sure you're shaking the fries while they're cooking. That would still leave some of them undercooked if you don't get some of the fries properly exposed by shaking.
We make everything from steaks to fries in ours... sometimes both at the same time. So long as you don't fill the basket to the top with a WHOLE BAG EEK! of fries, shaking is not required. You would, however, want to flip a thick steak once per cook. Easy.

How does this compare to the 8qt version for $50? To me it seems for $5 the other would be the better value. Anything I'm missing?

I don't use it for a bucket of fries so I couldn't tell you. It's just what the directions recommend.

I posted a deal for the 8-qt version for $50; it doesn't seem to resonate as well as the 6-qt version (don't know why).

It's looks like the Costco air fryer is $49.99 in the November flyer. Currently it last for $59.99. I may just get the Costco variant now and price match later.

Thanks for the link. Your deal actually seems to be better, as it's only $5 more for a 2 quart larger capacity, and the 8-quart version has over 2,000 reviews while the six quart doesn't have very many. Not sure why your deal hasn't blown up the same way this one has, but it's the one I'll be buying. Thanks!
