This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

That's exactly what happened. I was tracking my delivery, it was at my local FedEx so I was expecting it to be delivered that day. Then all of a sudden tracking said shipper return request or something... I was pissed to say the least, so lesson learned.

Now I just got an email saying it's on hold. That they can only process four trade in transactions per household. But I only ordered 1 and don't have any other orders opened. Is it because I chose best buy pick up?

The point isn't that you won't get the tablet…you will be on the hook for the $350 TIV when they cancel your trade-in due to THEIR mistake.

And then you lock the card so they can't charge you and email top samsung executives. At least thats what people did on the last deal.
