Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

how do you know when to pick up and any idea if you can trade it in at the bestbuy store?
thank goodness i have a lg tablet to trade in. granted its an lte tablet but its old and slow.
BBB is a joke and does nothing, it's just a way for companies to have good optics for "accreditation" anymore in my opinion. If a situation is egregious enough with mass marketing, especially depending on the state you and/or the business is in though, they'll look into it.
Keep in mind AGs are tasked in this regard with acting on behalf of all consumers, not just you. They usually will request follow up from the business to you if they do anything, but they cannot act in an attorney capacity to help you specifically.
I've had to resort to this a handful of times over the years, and it's more successful and less time consuming than most other avenues if you present the situation right in your complaint.
To be honest, AG consumer protection complaints are one of the few semi useful tools we as the little guys have left against deceptive, predatory, or illegal business practices. Definitely more people should be aware of what they are and what they may do. We're now up to our eyes in mandatory arbitration clauses and forced class action waivers, which really should be illegal anyway I think, but a business cannot "TOS" themselves out of government initiated legal action, it's not possible.
