This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

I strongly suggest you record a video of some sort so in case they give you some BS you can reach out to a tier 3 escalation specialist and show them the video. They did helped me out when I reached out to them on the previous deal fiasco where everyones order was getting canceled

Everyone dissent have a bad experience. I've done multiple trade-ins with Samsung because I no longer but devices through my carrier and I have had zero issues. If you send them a device in poor condition they are going to rejectv it though. If there's excessive scratches on the enclosure and stuff it's a no go. I had a couple of friends get their trades rejected for hairline cracks that were very hard to see.
