Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

I don't feel like paying anything for it really, but if i can get 4 months without annoying advertisements before videos, i'll take it for free, and cancel before the 4 months is up.
I think it does a disservice to folks to mark is as expired, when things keep coming back in stock over time.

Not OP, but took about 45 mins after i picked up the device to get the shipping label (shortly after i got home from picking it up 30 minutes away).
After picking up, Samsung sent me the shipping label for the trade in.
