This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

yeah, i ordered yesterday night (with like only 5 pages on the thread) but was unable to get the BB pickup option to show up. Est delivery was nov 10, but when the order completed said nov 24. I should have tried a few more times to get BB pickup. Still no confirmation either.

Picked up at best but this morning. Order ready email says Please note: If you have a trade-in, you will get another email from Samsung with detailed information about your trade-in. Please do not return your trade-in device in-store. Received trade in email with label after pickup. Just talked to Samsung CS and confirmed iPad Generation 1 16GB is eligible as iPad 9.7. He confirmed in the chat and provided me with a chat id for future reference. So should be all good.

Quick question for anyone who picked up at Best Buy.

I just did so, the kid behind the counter seemed a lil clueless, tried to scan the tablet a few times etc, before passing me it.

How long was it after picking up until you for the 'thanks for picking up email and/or your trade in shipment label email'.

Currently out in the BB parking lot and kinda concerned the pick up may not have been triggered, so to speak.

The tracking number for my online order is showing up under my FedEx account. Of course this doesn't mean Samsung won't intercept the package like usual business, but it's good to know they are at least processing the orders

20 minutes for me to get the picked-up notice. A couple hours to get the label email. If your pickup wasn't trigggered, you got the buds and the tablet for free once it gets auto-refunded (by mistake) in 5 or so days.

It took about 10-15 minutes to receive an "order complete" email. And another hour or so for the trade-in labels to arrive in my email box. If it's not triggered, that means you got a free tablet lol. It will cancel itself out in 5 days and you will receive your money back to your card

Got my email notification about 15 minutes afterwards. Then the trade in email about 2 hours after that.
