Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

I also had a CS tell me via chat that any LG tablet was eligible. I'm also trading in a T-Mobile tablet from about 5 years ago.
Of course, all the CS reps may be grossly misinformed, but you'd think Samsung would have caught on to this problem by now. I know it's only been about 18 hours or so, but Samsung is a huge organization.
I also had a CS tell me via chat that any LG tablet was eligible. I'm also trading in a T-Mobile tablet from about 5 years ago.

Didn't need another tablet but couldn't pass up $79 for a decent tablet.
Already have a Tab S7, so this is something for the rest of the family to play with.
Had and old Lenovo tablet to trade in, so no loss there.
Plan on selling the Buds recoup some of the cost. I'm guessing Ebay will be flooded with buds soon.
I haven't had any issues with Samsung trade ins. They did knock $100 off one of the phones I traded in because it had a crack on the back glass. I didn't realize it before i sent it, but I took pictures and confirmed it was there before I sent it. Another phone I said was cracked before trading in and I received the full amount for it. I hope this trade goes smooth. It is packed up ready to send. Just have to drop it off. I took pictures and videos for proof of condition.
