This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

My order was accepted but payment didn't go through on my Tab FE and Galaxy Buds 2. Was planning on buying a Nexus 7 to trade in. Should I update the payment and get it or just not bother? Scared about the shady trade in tactics with Samsung. Gonna use a bank account I only have limited funds in so they can't charge me if they reject the trade in. Since Privacy cards won't work on there.

That said, I wasn't about to trade in a 256GB cellular version for this deal. It still works great for everyday purposes and I had a 16GB Air 2 collecting dust that was retired from a school (and was free for me) to trade in.

My email show google - tablet as $350. Will they honor this? If I return decide to return s7, just take it back to BB with in 15days? I will take a chance on sending in my nexus 7 with original box with it.

There was an option on some of the tablets to pick up in store at Best Buy instead of shipping from Samsung. Samsung then put through a Marketplace order at Best Buy for pickup so they have some type of partnership with BBY to do this.

Exactly. Have a 10.5 Pro 256GB LTE that has been used less than 2 years, going strong and still under AppleCare, and thus wasn't considered as a trade. Went with generic Lenovo Trade instead. . .now need to find one lol.

From samsung webpage:

However, as set forth in Section 7 above, if you return your New Samsung Product after shipping Samsung your Trade-In Device and if your Trade-In Device is accepted and not rejected by Samsung, Samsung will not return your Trade-In Device to you. Further, you will not receive any refund or other value for the Trade-In Device credit that was deducted from the purchase price of your New Samsung Product.

It seems like if they accept your trade in device, you could never get it back even if you return the tablet
