This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

They might be talking about pixel density.

They both have same resolution but because of the smaller 120hz display of the 7, it's a sharper looking display.

Either should be fine. It says "Asus" on the tablet, but it is also a Google tablet. If they accept it, they should accept under either, but if they were hell bent on denying the trade-in, they could deny it in either case. If you picked "Asus", they could say it is a Google Nexus 7 tablet, and if you picked Google, they could say "sorry, it clearly says Asus here".

I picked Google as the Nexus series of tablets are clearly Google tablets, just as the Nexus series of phones are Google phones, but who knows what will happen at the trade-in center.

Shouldnt be any issues with trade in if your sending what u said u would...factory reset device with no accessories...done..easy as 123..took video and pics...never had an issue

Yup, they have identical 2560x1600 resolutions. The S7 will have greater pixel density and 120Hz refresh rates. Overall the S7 is the better screen but it's not a resolution issue.

Also: The S7 is the better tablet. Here's everything you need/want to know about the 2.

The cpu we're getting in the wifi s7 fe is more powerful than the 750G that comes in the 5G
version from your link.. It's the new 778G that's just 19% slower than my s7 865+. The 778G is almost double in Multi-Core vs the 750G.

Those benchmarks reference the 750G processor which is wrong for the wi-if version of the s7 fe. That's the processor in the cellular version.

The Wifi version has a 778G processor that is much faster and benchmarks close to the 865 in the s7.

I called Samsung to ask if my Asus C100 2-in-1 chromebook was eligible. He said if it wasn't eligible, he'd give me the $350 trade in value anyways. On the trade in screen there are no specific models of Asus tablets to trade in.
