This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

I was able to score one FE 128GB Best Buy pickup, but when I read all those comments about trade-in headache, I cancelled it. Mine was Nexus 7 tablet trade in with perfect condition, but charging port could be an issue since sometimes it does not charge. It is hit and miss.

For my orders, samsung always has the wrong total during authorization, this is because they have the wrong sales tax amount, but when they officially charge me, the tax amount is corrected. Moments after i place my order i can see samsung will refund me the wrong total and recharge me with the right sales tax numbers.

The same exact thing happened half-dozen times that Samsung has done these bait-n-switch shenanigans this year. Let's not be naive here.

The first few orders were shipped, and many after were constantly left with delay after delay until eventually waves of cancellations were sent out.

Wow, that's good to know. I am roughly the same. Thanks for the info.

I have been looking at the 512gb 8GB over the Ipad Pro's 4GB that i'm currently using that constantly gasps for air when i run too many open apps.
