On large ultrawide monitors, the curve helps significant reduce eye strain / eye fatigue. If you Google around, there have been several studies done that confirm this (some more scientific / precise than others, but almost all conclude the same thing).

Basically, your eyes are not flat - they're rounded, so having the curve helps brings more of the monitor into your field of view without needing to move or strain your eyes (which happens has a reflex even if you don't intentionally do it) to see what's on the screen because the curve brings more of the image into a narrower field of view.

A curved monitor isn't going to solve every problem, and the larger the monitor the more you will need to move or strain your eyes to see it (for example, you're never going to have the entirety of a 49" curved monitor into your field of view), but it's almost always going to be easier on your eyes than a flat monitor will be.

I went from a flat 27" to a curved 34" ultrawide several years back as my primary productivity monitor (mostly office applications, word processing, etc.) and while I wasn't having any serious issues with the 27", within a day or two I noticed a considerable relief from eye strain and headaches and have never looked back.
That sounds opposite... Usually the bigger the monitor, the more people like the curve.
From my research if you game you want a curve. If you work and do photo & video editing you don't necessarily want a curve.

Does anyone know the difference between LS34J550WQNXZA and LS34J552WQNXZA.

Not sure why LS34J552WQNXZA is more expensive than the model OP posted?

Nice price on a 34" 1440... but personally, I would never get this size without a curve.

What is the difference with and without a curve seriously?

I think with VA panels, the viewing angle cause some of the colors to look washed out. On an ultra-widescreen, the content on the edges of the screen might not look as good as the stuff in the middle.

How come? On the curves deal I am seeing other mentioned they would not get anything above 27 in a curve.
I am looking to purchase 2 monitors either a (2) 27s or (2) 32s and I don't know where to start, I'm not good with the specs

Thanks OP! Repped!
I ordered 2 (had to make 2 separate purchases). I got $10 off using the SD extension with applied the promo code "WOWFRESH" (on the first order only).
Worst case I take them back to the store if I find a better deal or don't like them. Otherwise, this will surely be better than my current 22" & 23" Dell monitors that are over 4 years old. :-)

Don't get one that big without a curve unless you're sitting like 5 feet back. I got a 4k 32" VA panel without a curve and don't even use it anymore. I prefer my 1080p 27" with curve.
