Just came in here to say, I bought this monitor, hated it, returned it. Ended up buying an LG 35 curved, much happier.

I bought this monitor the last time this deal came up a month ago. There were a couple of dead pixels. The one I got in exchange had even more. It's a pain returning because once the stem of the stand locks into the monitor, you can't take it off. You need to unscrew some stuff.

Some details would help, please.
Why you hated it?
Link for one you bought.
What is so good about it?

Thanks in advance.

For a non-curved, at this size, there was a bowing effect. It looked like it was bending towards me, at least from where I was sitting.

Bought 2. The navigation is a little weird, but gets the job done.

I had this one and returned. You will have to move your head constantly to view the edge of the screen. The distortion is hard to ignore

I have one. For development work I usually have it at 2560x1440 which makes it a 27in monitor. Only a few days spent on full 3440x1440, mostly whenever I have to have several code files open at once. The turning of the head and reading the outer edges from about 2ft apart does mess with my eyes a little bit. I also have another native 27in as part of the setup. Great monitor for the price! Never tried curved myself.

Just a reminder that 75hz is only available with DisplayPort and the HDMI ports are 60hz

Why running at lower resolution?
My only reason for looking to get wider monitor is for more real-estate to have multiple windows open. Currently have a 32" 2560x1440. Would getting another of the same size be a better option?

Thanks.

Great for productivity - the curve is very annoying on thigs like spreadsheets or my timelines in video editing; flat is better IMO
