Home Depot has expanded their military discount program, and made it easier to use. It now formally includes honorably discharged veterans, and is tied to your HD account. In-store, the HD app provides a QR code for use at checkout. Online, it applies automatically.
(Lowe's has had this in place for a while.)

I was super glad to hear Home Depot decided to join them. And the verification process was quick and easy.

Log into your home depot account wither through the app or website. you can either search "military discount"
or you can try this link (hopefully it works)

and apply. Enter in your information and it will tell you immediately if you are eligible. once done it will apply it to your home depot account (that's why you log in it first before doing this process)
To verify through the app that your account now has military discount attached ot it.
1. Go into your app.
2. At the bottom click on your name (usually your name or whatever name you set when you made the account)
3. click the arrow by "account" to drop down other options
4. click on "military discount program"
5. there you will see that you are eligible and scroll to the bottom to see a QR code.
From what that page states the QR code will change regularly so screenshots won't work. (you can try at first, but it's easier to open the app, have it ready and scan when you get to the register.)
I just check early this morning and have not had the chance to try it out instore or online yet.
Wanted to let our write members out there know that Home Depot finally has the program for us online and we are not limited to coming inside an actual store to show physical proof that we are who we are.
