Please be aware - these xfinity comcast speeds are not guaranteed, read the fine print, after paying for gigabit speeds for 2 yrs realized it never came even close, we were getting only 250 mbps I tried different routers.
Also if you have many in the neighborhood on Xfinity, it slows you down.
Lastly, when we went past 1 TB we got an additional bill saying we used too much, this happened for two months and I switched.


Although their Customer Service is much better than ATT

lol, it literally takes a minute once the old account goes down to sign up with your new credentials. I use the same modem, wifi router and everything. The savings for me easily outweigh the minor inconvenience of "resigning up"..

On the flip side of the coin.. randomly goes down only a few times a year which would be fine, but I get speeds less than 1/4 advertised. This was when I tried both my personal modem and their own rented modem.

When I called them they said it must be your device having an issue. Yeah.. every phone, pc, laptop, tablet all having the exact same issue at the same time... couldn't possibly be their shit service

Do you need to call to remove your modem from the old account before using it w/ the new acct?

Sometimes yes. I've bought a lot of used modems and lot of times they are still on the old account, I just take modem to Xfinity store and they remove it from the old account. They will refuse over the phone if you weren't the account holder of the old account.

1tb cap kills the deal. What point is there for fast internet if you can't use it? A few TVs streaming at 4k will easily eat 1tb up in less than a month

There is a deal at xfinity for 600mbs and 900Mbs which gives for 5 dollars extra per month Xfi complete. Xfi complete has unlimted data.

I see some changes/additions they made in my region.

Looks like they added more deals and options. Now every single Internet plan has the Internet+Mobile plan discount ranging between $10 to $45 off when before it was 2 or 3. Now all the plans have $10 off xFi Complete for first year (modem rental + unlimited data for $25-$10=$15/month).

They basically added this deal to one of the TV/Internet plans (double play). Includes free pro install, free Internet speed upgrade, no xFi Complete offer though, and the $30/month off for mobile plan combo. Not sure if you get the $300 GC...maybe.


So in my region, you could get 1.2 Gbps for $80 - $30 + $MobilePlan($15+)...and then +$15/month for unlimited. Plus the $300 GC + $200 BYOD GC

My area offering $300 visa card just for 1200 plan for 1 year contract. No Mobile required.
