The Nest subscription is $60 or $120 if paid annually, both of which include all nest cameras not per cam. $60 includes 30 day event history, familiar faces and zones to prevent alerts. $120 adds another 30 day history and 10 days of 24/7 history. Without subscription you can look back 3 hours only.
The OnTech + membership is good for a year and doesn't auto renew. It includes 10% off products and 10-20% off installation. Return window is increased to 60 days. The OnTech Smart Support app gives you unlimited tech support via call (US based) or chat and through handy how-to guides.
Hope this helps

Did you need to pay anything extra for the transformer?

Installer was great except for trying to upsell me on everything little thing. He tried to sell me a new Yale lock, a Nest outdoor camera, a Google Nest Hub (already have one), and then a Google Nest Hub Max.

Eufy doorbell is one of them. But I still went for the Google doorbell just cause it looks better lol
Install it yourself. Very easy. Just need proper size bit. Put the fasteners in the mortar joints, not the bricks. You will need a masonry bit. Took 5 minutes.
I cannot have it shipped or brought there until Dec 16.
I looked around internet, seems like Arlo, Eufy, Ring, Nest are best bets.
After looking at this deal yesterday, almost ordered, then I saw Eufy deal on Costco, for $234, I get the door bell, smart lock and local base station for recording. Looking at youtube, I couldnt finalize the one. Here seems to be a lot of Nest users.
Apart from free mini and installation, since its only a door bell installation, what kind of service is provided? On Tech site states free installation, tailor the need, but seems simple on Nest door bell. is there anything that I am missing? I have to make a decision and I am not decided.
Eufy - has the best camera among all, economical, local storage and battery operated bell (thats the only big reason right now to lean towards it)
Nest - cant go wrong with google but still need to find what makes this better
Arlo - seems like a better overall, but our house is small and just door bell and another backyard cam will be morethan sufficient.
Ring - seems a good deal if we just need door bell.
Wyze- surprisingly this is simple, cost effective but doesnt allow local storage, continuous monitoring as above. Only reason to strip this out.
Newest - battery operated.
