The Nest subscription is $60 or $120 if paid annually, both of which include all nest cameras not per cam. $60 includes 30 day event history, familiar faces and zones to prevent alerts. $120 adds another 30 day history and 10 days of 24/7 history. Without subscription you can look back 3 hours only.
The OnTech + membership is good for a year and doesn't auto renew. It includes 10% off products and 10-20% off installation. Return window is increased to 60 days. The OnTech Smart Support app gives you unlimited tech support via call (US based) or chat and through handy how-to guides.
Hope this helps

I cannot have it shipped or brought there until Dec 16.
There's no way I would have been able to diagnose the line problem myself, and would have just run myself insane trying to figure out what was wrong. The value of getting a pro to install these things even when they seem relatively straightforward, I suppose.
I had to initiate the return process for the wired doorbell myself, so there's a short-term double hit in payment, but the return is already processed and I'm shipping the wired doorbell back. Very easy to do.
And as others noted, the tech came with the Mini. Great deal.

I got the Google Nest Wired Doorbell from this deal, but I found that the Nest app is slow to respond so I can't answer right away. However, as I don't have any experience with Ring, I'm not sure how it compares.
No one has called since, and I hope I will get my doorbell eventually.
Seems like a good deal though.
Ontech service was good. However Google nest doorbell has technical issues atm while talking via door bell using Google home or nest app (talk to listen feature).
Tried to answer doorbell using Android phones, did not work. Referring to Google nest help forums it seems to be known issue, mostly among new versions of Samsung and pixel phones. Occasionally iPhone. Root cause of issue still unknown.
It's no use to me if I cannot answer the door via app. Returning it.

For wired, this is the new version of Nest Doorbell. The new version is actually a downgrade of the old version which was called Nest Hello cam and had the Nest logo instead of Google logo.
"While the Nest Hello cam offered a 1600 x 1200 HD video resolution at 30 frames per second, the Nest Doorbell drops that down to 960 x 1280. The camera lens itself took a similar hit, dropping from 3 megapixels to 1.3MP. The field of view was also shortened from 160 degrees (diagonal) to 145 degrees."

Google simply renamed the wired Nest Hello to Nest Doorbell (wired). When you go to the tech specs, it's still the same specs.
