( my mistake, .. I looked at the wrong spec sheet for another camera which looks the same, but has the larger and nicer sensor than the cameras actually included with this kit )

16-Channel Fusion NVR System with 4K (8MP) IP Cameras

N4K3-1612WB

16 PoE ports
12 8K bullet IP PoE cameras ( looks like larger sensors on these 1/1.8" )

$909.99 "Regular price" $1,399.99
( be certain you select the kit with 12 cameras in white .. otherwise the price will change )

NVR listed in this deal ( when I checked ): N862A63B
Cameras listed in this deal ( when I checked ): E841CA

( remember to take a screenshot, and document exactly what you are ordering .. Lorex in the past black friday deals has substituted products .. )

FYI - most current camera models from Lorex have smaller sensors, this is the first kit I have seen that they have in stock with the larger 1/1.8" sensor cameras that is not "open box"

As this is a Dahua OEM kit, you can augment this with Dahua OEM cameras.

Note: spec sheets from Lorex are no longer directedly linked from the webpage for the product, so I use a search engine with the camera model and "spec" to find the appropriate PDF spec sheet from lorex.

$910 / 12 = ~$75 per camera .. ignoring the NVR and HDD ..

remember to keep an eye on Lorex, prices can change each week .. and sometimes white cameras are a deal, other times black cameras .. seems sort of random in past years to me

Lists 1/2.7" sensor. Where did you see 1/1.8"?

*edit* what ^that^ guy above me said....

The PDF spec sheet shows a 1/2.7" sensor. Not the larger 1/1.8". I attached a screen cap here...

I am disappoint.

So, looks that Lorex may not have any larger sensor model cameras available this Black Friday season other than the older open box models.

Probably won't see those larger sensors until next year, unless the folks with their collective panties all bunched up convince retailers to stop carrying Lorex entirely.

Then we're all boned.

Hoping for the best.

The backward compatible Lorex camera list on this NVR is great. So if you bought one of the Lorex SD deals from Costco years ago like me, all your old cameras will probably work right now, while you wait for good weather to put the ladder up to mount your new cameras. I can report that my old cameras have been given a new life with just this new NVR. Night monitoring is better than it has ever been. I'm impressed. Can't wait to get my new cameras mounted but at least, I don't have to jump out my ass to get it done. The 8 cameras I have in place will continue to provide great performance and recordings, without doing anything but just plugging them in.Thanks OP, TU/Repped.
