A non LG TV with webOS? And they even mislabeled the RJ45 port as RP45 on their own website? Reviews on this one are gonna be real interesting.

So this is likely a relabeled LG then, right? Even the picture of the remote in the owner's manual mimics LG's design. LG is referenced a couple times in the manual as well! (surprised they branded it as an RCA and not Zenith)

I have purchased a black friday RCA TV before along with a friend. Just want to warn people. Both our TVs had issues. One with pixels going out and my TV would randomly turn on in the night. Not saying this TV will have issues, but I am definitely not doing this gamble again.

I wonder if this is a step up from the $299 70" Element last year. I got one and it's been fine. Not bright enough that hdr makes any difference though.

Hoping this is a good deal.
I bought an RCA non smart TV 3 years ago at BJ's. Literally 1 day after the warranty was over the unit stopped working. RCA at that time seemed non existent . the website was orphaned, mentioning they had no service in the US. No parts were available for the units. It needed a $60 power supply, apparently this model that I bought was known for the issue.

I would not put any credibility in reviews of prior RCA TVs. Each model has been made by a different company based off of surplus inventory, overrun components, panels that don't pass the highest standards for the name brand unit, etc. I would even say the build quality within the same model varies greatly. My friend owned a repairs shop that is not closed due to COVID but RCA TVs would have all kind of crazy parts and most were sourced from Hisense. He said he was always surprised to find a unit with really high end parts and then find another but bottom spec. If you buy an RCA, just make sure it has a good return policy. You may end up with a fantastic great unit and then you may end up with a dud.
