These tests work, I just got over Covid and this thing lit up almost instant to let me know I had it, got a real test the next day to verify and I indeed had it.

I will use these for when I see vaccinated family for thanksgiving and want quick results, as opposed to symptomatic or travel or school clearance (or for seeing unvaccinated people). it's not always practical to do the full pcr tests and wait a day for results.

Can I ask why pay for this when regular COVID test is still 100% being covered if you have insurance (if no insurance the federal government aka your fellow taxpayer will pick up the tab)?

This kit is NOT accepted for any travel requiring COVID test nor for any government mandated requirement- both require a result generated by a lab.

You can't just go parading results from this kit like a pregnancy kit - first there's no proof the result is actually tied to you and second there is no control on whether you administered it correctly in the first place (you could have just swabbed your cat or dog).

And this is even getting to the accuracy/ false negative rate of this test …

1) Family abroad afraid to get Govt tested (shitty country will quarantine them)

2) Convenience

3) Kids exposed (or common cold) in public school (see #2)

Tbh, I wonder why people care so much about measly $14 on here,these are a steal.

Just bought a few for piece of mind before seeing family, even though vaccinated. Very easy to use, do one test and then it says do the second in the box 36 hours later.
