75" Samsung QLED for under $1100 and people are complaining about RTing ratings? Were there better deals while I was under my rock?

personally I have either had the worst luck with Samsung products or their quality control has gone to crap. Over the past few years My $2K Samsung tv failed in 14 months. My Q60 Qled failed in just one week. Bought a home with brand new High end Samsung appliances, 3 of the 5 have issues in under a year and a half....point is if you do buy Samsung products ALWAYS BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY
Also one of THE best Youtube tv reviewers (called HDTVtest) says do not buy the Samsung Q60-Q80 tvs, they are not worth it, there are better tvs out there for the price....only buy the Q90 series IF you can afford it....and thats a big IF because they are very expensive and usually too close to OLED prices, which is a better choice for most consumers
I'm wondering how this compares to a 1080p model from 6 years ago.
Currently have a Vizio m702i-b3 from 2014. Rtings for it back then was 7.6
There's simply no comparison because a lot more is measured now..... but from what is measured, I'd give the 6 y/o tv about a 3.5 based on today's rating system..... That's well below the worst tv you can find on the market today.

Woah that makes sense!
One of the things I liked about the Vizio when new was when calibrated it is pretty color accurate. It definitely has its deficiencies.
Thank you. I guess I can adjust my search as I'm over here thinking I need to get an oled in this size to get something good!
