515 is the best bike accessory I've ever purchased

Own this and its awesome but note that your seatpost will need enough length to accommodate this as well as a tail light. Also, doesn't look as clean as if you have just the 515 (radar/light combo) for those that care.

It's better than a mirror. It alerts to cars that you cant even hear or see yet. It shows you how many cars, their relative speed to you (via what color your head unit flashes), alerts you when it's clear (head unit flashes green), etc.

I had serious reservations about buying because of the price (I got the 515), but it's amazing.

The two use cases where this doesn't make sense is if you are in a heavily populated city with perpetual cars passing you (the alerts would be constant and annoying) or if you exclusively ride trails (unnecessary).

Hands down the best accessory I have purchased for my bike, I have mine paired to my wahoo elemnt
***just realized this model does not have the light as others have said, I would hold off for the light model, the radar picks up approaching objects from behind and starts flashing brighter and more irregular to get the drivers attention too. That is the model I use and won't ride road without it..

I've got the taillight version, like the idea of one less thing to charge up and bigger battery, but this is a good deal for a fantastic safety accessory.

Believe the hype, I will never ride without this again! You should only be debating whether this one or the taillight version. Stay safe out there.

BTW a lot of LBSs have this online for the same price and offer free shipping and no Sales Tax if you ship out of state. Take SunriseTri out of NY, I order a bunch of stuff from them here in the DC region, fantastic people, good customer service, and fast shipping (I get my stuff in 1 day).
