SlickdealsForumsDeal TalkDeal Of The Day Microsoft - Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S - Black $139
At $140 I think this is a steal. I understand that people have their problems with build quality but I've had zero issues so far and I love this controller so much. It has a really premium feel and works great. I hate going back to my regular controller when I have to on occasion. The case it comes with is awesome too
edit: although I'm curious if they're working on releasing a next generation of these with how many sales they've been running. if they did I feel it would likely add some minor quality of life improvements more than anything since it's got great features and feel already
I've had 2 get mad stick drift in 4-5 months... its got a 90-day factory warranty that they claim they've extended to 1-year (https://support.xbox.com/en-US/he...2-warranty), but they still wouldn't fix mine.
This controller has also been $140 at many retailers lately and was/is available for $120 as well (search SD)
Just think I got this for $48 last week makes me think $140 is way overpriced. Target and Amazon was just $140 last week so this seems like MSRP. If you rather purchase through Amazon it's still at the same price. Just a heads up.

Best Buy is probably the place to buy from because their extended warranty is really good. Odds are you will need to use it and if you don't then just wait until the warranty is about to run out and swap it out anyways. By then the elite 3 should be out and you can upgrade for basically nothing.
I've read so many bad things about the Elite controllers and my friend's son has one and his broke in a typical way too. But the normal Xbox Core controllers have a pretty mediocre build quality. I wanted to take a chance on these but may just wait for the Elite 3 mentioned here.

i'd get the extended protection and hold on to it until the elite 3 is out.
