I've been using this for the last few months. Get this if you care more for the 4k oled screen for content creation or viewing and not about a high refresh rate gaming. I don't really play fps games, so I rather have my games look pretty and stuck at boring 60hz. This does not have a mux either, so there would be little bit less performance due to optimus. You can get hdr movies to work on windows from your plex library if using kodi+plex addon.

Make sure you get the latest control center software from gigabyte. That fixes an issue where the battery drains extremely fast if using non-gigabyte nvidia drivers. Use msi afterburner to do a custom frequency/voltage curve on the gpu. You can undervolt your gpu significantly while maintaining pretty high core clocks. This decreases gpu temps drastically. Msi afterburner also drains battery life quickly, so I manually run it only when gaming.

If you are an advanced user, you can get the bios unlocked at winraid forums. This will allow you to use throttlestop to undervolt and even overclock the cpu, which helps drastically as well. Liquid metal also helps a lot with temps, but will require at least one re-application down the road due to liquid metal bonding with the copper heatsink surface.

There's nothing in OLED that limit it to 60. All flagship phones, for example, have Samsung OLED displays that can run at 120Hz

All 4K OLEDs are 60 Hz as of now. There are some 2.8K 14" OLED based on Samsung E4 Panels and present in Lenovo IdeaPad/Yoga Slim 7, ThinkBook 14p, Asus VivoBook pro 14x etc., are running at 90 Hz.

OLED a bad idea for a PC? Seems like a good deal to other than the fact that burn in can be an issue. And that in this case the monitor is physically attached to your machine
