Yup. 3 years is a long time to be locked into a single carrier and plan. I rather take my chances with Wally even if it means getting a little less discount, as long as they allow me to pay in full immediately after receiving my gift card(s).

I don't know what troubles you are talking about. We have upgraded through the similar Walmart deals since last 4 years and never had issues!!
During first week of Nov I pay off the remaining balance at ATT site. Last year we got iphone 11 for around $300, and sold 1 of those for $380 last week.
Walmart GC is almost equal to cash for many of us

This is great to hear! Assuming you upgraded multiple phones during that promo, can you confirm you were able to get an e-gift card for each phone you upgraded? Also did you have to purchase them individually/separately to get the multiple gift cards or a single transaction will do? I need to upgrade 2 phones…

Got separate e-GC for each. I loaded all to one Walmart account and linked to Walmart pay.
Had to do 4 different transactions as there is a verification for each phone number if it's paid off. But Walmart and ATT have a link to that's seamless with just 3 fields - phone #, zip and last 4 of main account holder social.
